Continuous Improvement Manager 40 hours

Join our Global Operations Management team and play a key role in shaping the future of our Color Solutions (CS) Business Unit. This is your opportunity to lead impactful projects, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and make a difference within Vibrantz globally

Tasks & responsibilities:

As our Continuous Improvement Manager for CS you will build and strengthen our Continuous Improvement (CI) network by sharing best practices and enabling local teams to own their improvement initiatives. You identify, lead, and deliver key improvement projects in collaboration with (local) Operations and CAPEX teams, always keeping in mind the goal: reducing conversion costs and improving revenues. Next to that, establishing global benchmarks for problem-solving, Lean methodologies, and performance improvement will be your responsibility. Training and coaching teams at all levels of the Business Unit to embed a continuous improvement mindset is also part of the game. Just as is conducting CI assessments at production sites and develop actionable plans tailored to local needs. You will cooperate intensively with colleagues within the Engineering departments, Quality, Supply Chain Management and Sales & Operations Planning.

To measure success, implementing KPI scorecards to track progress and ensure sustainable results.

In this position you are an active member of the Global Operations Management team of Color Solutions BU. You will report to the VP Operations – Global Color Solutions Opex.

Experience and skills required:

  • Degree in Chemical- or Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain or another related field.
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Operations, including extensive experience in Lean/Operational Excellence.
  • Experience in chemical or batch industry really makes you stand out.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Lean methodologies such as Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S.
  • Strong coaching and training skills and able to drive cultural change across all organizational levels.
  • Resilient though adaptable personality, and passionate about empowering teams.
  • Familiarity with CAPEX project management.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively: up to 30%, primarily to European Color Solutions locations (Spain, Romania) and occasionally to the US or Colombia.
